Printing Webpages
1) Before Printing, Be Sure you have Used the Page
Setup Option ; File > Page Setup)

This is the Page Setup
button. Use this to set paper size, headers, footers, orientation,
and page margins

Click on it to open
this window.

Firstly, make sure you
have the correct paper size selected (A4). The header and
footer section lets you add (or remove) extra information about
the document (see the list of code values listed below). The main
thing is to look at is the page margins. Most of the time these
margins are set too large reducing the printable area of the
document. Try a setting 0.5" ( or 5 millimeters)
for all margins seems
to get the best results. Try adjusting these margin values and see
how it affects the preview image. Remember to use the zoom
buttons to make sure text and pictures aren’t missing off one of
the margins. If it looks OK in preview, then it should print out
fine.
Header and footer

title, which is usually the title of the Web page

Print the URL (address) of the Web page
&d = Print the date

first time this code appears, the text that follows is centred.
The second time the code appears, the text that follows is aligned
with the right margin

window will open showing you how the page will print out.
This is the tool bar for
the Print Preview feature
These are the navigation buttons.
They are: jump to the first page, back one, current page number,
forward one and jump to the last page
This section lets you adjust how
the page looks on screen. You can zoom out, zoom in or using the
drop-down box, select preset sizes as well as Page Width, Whole
Page and Two Pages options
Click on Help if you get stuck. If
you don’t want to print the web page, click on Close to go back to
Internet Explorer

When you
are happy with how the document looks, click this button ( Or our
Print This Page link) to print the web page
